So I just thought I'd try this whole blogging thing that MJ has come to love (and now miss) so much. Yep, it's me...MJ's distraught girlfriend...ok, maybe distraught is a little too strong...I guess I'm just doing the ol' missing him thing... : *(
I'm sitting here trying desperately to work on my thesis, but MJ's recent deployment has me feeling kinda down in the dumps lately. I don't know any of you except Dharma (thank goodness for her

, but MJ thinks so highly of you guys and this site. I guess I should let ya'll (yes, I was born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina) know something about me...I'm working on finishing up my masters in animal nutrition at N.C. State University in Raleigh, NC. However, I don't think it's going to be completely finished before I move to Alabama...I'm actually starting vet school at Auburn University, AL in August. I've lived in NC all my life, so this is going to be interesting...but I'm excited and ready for the change.

Apparently, MJ is pretty excited about my degree...since I'm getting my DVM in large animal, that's going to be his excuse not to have to take care of the horses...HAH! But anyway, he's a great guy, and I love him with all my heart and soul...I'm so glad we found this site...esp for him...we actually kind of came upon it together one day while we were looking for 'practice' vet school interview questions in preparation for my interview with Auburn...but he's been able to get into it more than I have...guess that's why this is only my second blog...but I figure it might be a good way to introduce myself...so I guess I had better get back to the thesis writing before my advisor shows up...have a good one, ya'll!

Oh yeah, I know Dharma mentioned his promotion, but I just thought I'd reiterate my enthusiasm over this...it's a HUGE deal...only the best of the best...so congrats again to Dharma and MJ!
